A question from R.C. Fredericks

Just finished your delightful book. Like any good memoir it left me with both a feeling of warm connection and a bit of meloncholy. The formation and loss of an imagined friendship has charmed me from the personal stories of Anais Nin, Gloria Swanson, Ted Kennedy, etc. etc. etc. and now Frank Bruni.
Bet you never thought you'd be grouped with Gloria Swanson...or maybe you have.
Again, thank you for the words. It's rare nowadays that I am absolutely certain that neither my money nor, more importantly ,my time have been wasted.
Oh my, but Wednesdays opening the Times aren't the same.
